Reconstruction & Rehab
This is the part where the story turns around: studs become rooms, rooms become your home, and “the flood” becomes something that happened once. Most restoration companies leave before this chapter. It's our favorite one.
What we do
From structurally sound to “welcome home.”
Reconstruction after a loss is a different animal from ordinary remodeling, it has an insurance scope to honor, a mitigation history to build on, and a family that's already tired. We run it with one crew, one schedule, and one person to call.
- Structural repair: framing, decking, and load paths restored to code after fire, tree strikes, or rot.
- Full interior rebuild: insulation, drywall, texture, paint, flooring, cabinets, counters, trim, doors.
- Kitchens & baths: rebuilt to your taste, not just to “what was there” (upgrades priced transparently alongside scope).
- Systems coordination: electrical, plumbing, and HVAC subs we know by name, scheduled by us, not by you.
- Rehab projects: rental turnarounds, estate refreshes, and whole-home rehabs, disaster or no disaster.
- Matching the scope: the rebuild reconciles line-by-line with the insurance scope, so the money and the work never argue.

Our process
How the rebuild runs
By this phase you've had enough chaos. The rebuild should feel boring, in the best way.
-
Scope & selections
Approved insurance scope walked line-by-line; your selections (colors, floors, fixtures) made once, up front, with samples.
-
Structure & systems
Framing corrections, then electrical, plumbing, and HVAC rough-ins, inspected before anything closes up.
-
Insulation & drywall
Hung, taped, textured, primed. The house starts sounding like a house again.
-
Finishes
Floors, cabinets, counters, tile, trim, paint, the order matters and it's our job to sequence it.
-
Punch list
We walk every room with painter's tape and fix everything we tag, then everything you tag.
-
Contents home & warranty
Pack-out returns, warranty delivered, and both owners' numbers stay in your phone.
What to expect
How long does a rebuild take?
Real ranges, your written schedule comes with the scope.
Single-room repairs
A water-damaged bedroom or hallway: drywall through paint moves fast when it's one crew's whole focus.
Kitchens & multi-room
Cabinet lead times drive kitchen schedules more than labor does, we order day one for exactly that reason.
Major structural
Significant fire or structural rebuilds run months. You'll always know which week you're in and what's next.
Every loss is different. These are honest typical ranges, not promises. We'll give you a written scope and schedule for your home after the first walkthrough.
Insurance
We speak insurance, so you don't have to.
The rebuild is where insurance scopes meet reality, and where hidden damage most often surfaces (open a wall, find a surprise). Because we wrote the documentation from day one, supplements for legitimate findings are routine paperwork rather than a fight. And if you want upgrades beyond pre-loss condition, we price them as clean, separate line items so the claim stays clean too.
Read how we handle documentation, adjuster visits, and supplements on our insurance claims page. It's the part of this work most companies gloss over.
